My pregnancy

It had been a long time since I had been pregnant and sort of forgot what it was like. The smell of the fridge made me sick, as did the smell of the garbage! But I really didn't mind, I loved every minute of being pregnant even if I was more tired than usual and a little more nauseous. We went on a family vacation to Disney World in October, one last trip with just the 3 of us before baby arrived, I was 9 weeks pregnant. We had a blast and couldn't wait to return when baby was older, so he or she could have as much fun as Aiden had there. We even bought baby a couple souviniers, a gender neutral sleeper and blanket, to give to baby to remember their very first trip to Florida! We had Halloween with baby and went trick or treating around the neighborhood, it was beautiful outside. Then came birthdays, Aiden's birthday was first and it was at Splash Down, he had a big party and everyone came to celebrate him turning 7. Daddy's birthday was next and he had to work so we just made him dinner and an angel food cake, his favorite! Mommy's birthday was last and Daddy and Aiden spoiled her! We went out for dinner to the Olive Garden and then we went back to the house to relax, it was a great day. Thanksgiving came and we hosted it at our house, Grandma's and Grandpa's and Uncle's came and we cooked up a storm and had a wonderful time. I even thought to myself that next year I would like to do it again! That night I experienced my first black friday while pregnant and it was exhausting. Grandma Jody and I went out and shopped, shopped, shopped! We met up with my good friend Catherine who joined in the fun with us. We finally made it home around 2 am, and I crashed! That was the start of the holiday season and I was so excited for Christmas, since I had never been pregnant during this time of year before. I got the house all decorated and bought all the Christmas presents and wrapped them, which was difficult with an ever expanding belly to contend with, but it was ok I was still loving being pregnant and could not wait to find out if we were having a boy or girl!!
